The aims of the music school is to unearth, develop and promote the talents and interest of the youth in music as a career or hobby; provide employment and career avenues for the people as a means of earning a living; provide affordable basic education, with emphasis on literacy and numeracy, which aims at success for further education; and build into the youth socially acceptable attitudes and discipline through well structured education and development programmes and environment.
Originally established and run by an individual a Christ International Music School, PANEST was approached to help rescue the school from collapse. The final agreement for partnership support began in 2005.
The school now has trainees who are from lower primary up to secondary schools.
With its few months of activities, Panest Music School is making great impact on the youth and the school complex in general. It has become a centre for unearthing and developing fascinating talents and anybody witnessing their practice and other sessions can foresee up-and-coming stars.
