With HIV/AIDS becoming a social menace, predominantly among the youth, it became obvious that our goal of social development would not materialise if they are eventually striken by this incurable disease.
It has therefore been our policy to embark on intensive HIV/AIDS prevention and control education programmes to create the necessary awareness.
These programmes are organised in two ways.
Exclusive HIV/AIDS Prevention Campaigns and symposia are organised periodically in schools and communities.
STD and HIV/AIDS Prevention Education are integrated into our main educational, sports, music and other activities.
